Do hard things. I went to Kenya recently. Was it hard? Hmmmmm.
What is hard? I have imposed on you, gentle readers, the notion that at the very least, I have become flabby, flaccid, can I say spineless when it comes to stepping into adversity, stepping into the unknown, even seeking to enjoy hard labor.
Kenya held all these things.
Before I get to that story, I must confess a certain pride of having discovered the power of doing hard things. Sadly, as I look back over the last posts I see one thing in all your eyes…
1 John 2:16
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
Mea culpa. Please forgive.
The pride of first sighting. Guilty. Still, I charge you with DO HARD THINGS.
I leave you to yourselves. Send me an update.
I will give you an update on Kenya soon.
